Biography

Elaine Anderies is a professional horn player in the Greater Denver Area. With a Masters in Horn Performance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Bachelors in Horn Performance from the University of Denver, Elaine is pursuing a permanent position in one of Colorado’s top orchestras. Instructors Elaine has studied with include former hornist of the Canadian Brass, Bernhard Scully; Denver Brass hornist,  Susan McCullough; principal of Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, Kelly Hoffman; and assistant principal of the Vienna Philharmonic, Wolfgang Litner. She is currently principal of Parker Symphony, third horn of Littleton Symphony, and utility horn of Evergreen Chamber Orchestra. Other performance opportunities in Denver include substitute for Colorado Chamber Orchestra, principal of Inspire Theatre Company’s pit orchestra, and contracted principal of Colorado Morman Chorale and Orchestra’s annual production “Lamb of God”.
