Biography

Jennifer holds a Bachelor’s in Music Performance from the University of Wyoming under the direction of Rod Garnett and a Master’s in Music Performance from Texas Tech University School of Music under the direction of Lisa Garner Santa.She has completed Suzuki teacher training courses with Rebecca Palluzi, Laura Larson and Kenichi Ueda and has enjoyed teaching the Suzuki flute method since 2005.Jennifer performs with the Colorado Lark flute and guitar duo , the Lark Song flute and harp duo , the Lough Key Irish band and with the Baroque Chamber Orchestra of Colorado and substitutes regularly for the Boulder Symphony and Broomfield Symphony.Jennifer also completed several semesters of vocal instruction at both the University of Wyoming and Texas Tech School of Music and cantors at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Brighton, St. William’s in Ft. Lupton, Our Lady Mother of the Church in Commerce City and is a member of the Zion Lutheran Church Choir in Brighton.Jennifer performs regularly on her c-flute, alto, piccolo, 19th century 6-keyed flute, penny whistle and Baroque flute.
