Biography

I have played electric bass and acoustic bass guitar in just about every setting in Metro Denver since 1991. In the ’80s I was in a United States Air Force touring band, keeping our country safe by playing Southern malls and high schools. I think I had the most fun playing Norteño and cumbia, although I have music-directed country bands and played enough big-band swing to win the war. Twice. I’m in a punk trio right now … because it’s on the short list of styles I haven’t played much. If it’s a dot on a page, I can read it. I swear, though, I have played my last sports bar. Ever. Seriously — if there’s a game going on on a big screen, please don’t call me. Or slot machines ringing, either, for that matter. I mean it. No more #$%&ing casinos.
