Biography

Greta Parks hold a BM and Performers certificate from the Eastman School and an MM and Certificate in College teaching from CU Boulder.  Her primary teachers were Alan Harris, Judith Glyde, and Thomas Heinrich.  Ms Parks loves performing and teaching equally and maintains an active career in both areas.Ms Parks currently is a regular member of the Boulder Philharmonic and Boulder Chamber Orchestra.  In addition to maintaining a private studio for over 10 years, she has taught cello lessons at Dutchess Community College, Hochstein School, CU Boulder, and led sectionals at several public schools.  She currently maintains a cello studio in Boulder, CO.A native of Poughkeepsie, New York, Ms. Parks currently resides in Colorado. She loves the outdoors and is happy to be living so close to the Rocky Mountains; she also loves a good cup of coffee or chai. Ms. Parks is currently accepting new students at her home studio in Boulder, CO.
