About Charlie Provenza

A one time National Mandolin Champion and Six time Telluride Mandolin Contest Winner, Charlie has performed with the Aspen Music Festival, The Colorado Symphony, the  Wild Jimbos and his own groups.  Featured Author in Mel Bays Publications Mandolin 2000 and Winfield Winners.

His groups,Train 45, Gypsy Mandolin and Mandolin Ranch have played  countless Weddings, Corporate and Public events. 

 Mandolin Ranch is a band that combines a variety of music including  Rock,Country,Bluegrass, Blues,Irish, Gypsy, Jazz and classical. They can play as any combination of musicians from a duo up to a 5-piece.

Gypsy Mandolin is a very Popular Trio with Guitarist Gordon Schrag and Violinist Eric Levine. This group played Fratelli’s Italian restaraunt for 12 years! and the Little Russian Cafe on the Boulder Mall for 7 years!

Billy Byrd Band, Charlie is guitarist of this great Rock, Country and Americana outfit.  Always entertaining and feature the one and only Billy Byrd!
