Biography

While performing as a violist, I teach violin and viola. Most of my performing is in the opera realm. I have performed with Central City Opera and Opera Colorado.My undergraduate degree is in education from U.N.C. My studies continued first with Jesse Levine at Yale University, then with Burton Kaplan from the Manhattan School of Music in N.Y.C. I have taught since 1981 in public schools, private schools, and community music schools. I currently teach private lessons at home and as an instrumental music coach at Arvada West High School and Mountain Range High School in Westminster.
