Biography

Michael Allen is principal tuba of the Central City Opera Orchestra, Colorado Ballet Orchestra, and Opera Colorado. He is a founding member of the Boulder Brass, serving as its principal tuba, music director and executive director. He is a former member of the Dallas Brass and has also performed with the Canadian Brass, Grand Teton Music Festival Brass, and the Summit Brass.
